Well done to Active Stirling's Volunteers receiving their Saltire Award!

Well done to all our young volunteers who received their Saltire award at the Volunteer Networking event held at St Modan’s High School!
A massive thank you to Duncan Watson, Ellie Smithson, Ellen Curry and Ellie Lapsley (see picture) for your time and dedication to volunteering across a number of Active Stirling’s programmes (Active kids holiday, dance and gymnastics) across the community. We would also like to thank Emma Binnie, Charlie Smithson, Layton Wardrop, Sophie Wilson and Jan Finlay who also received certificates for their hard work.
Active Stirling Coaching Manager, Mark Findlay said: “It’s a fantastic reward and recognition for these young people for all their hard work over the past year and beyond.  Their commitment to volunteering has been outstanding and we’d like to thank you all for all your hard work.”
The event which was supported by Volunteer Scotland as part of the Volunteer Festival 2017, was a great success with volunteers from all areas of Active Stirling coming along and enjoying some refreshments and finding out a little bit more on volunteering opportunities Active Stirling offers.  Other organisations who attended the evening were Scottish Voluntary Enterprise, Stirling Council & Volunteer Scotland.
